Whether you need to protect cash, passports, legal documents or irreplaceable records, the right safe gives you peace of mind that no cloud backup or filing cabinet can match. Mahmayi stocks 80 safes across digital, mechanical and fire-resistant categories — from compact personal boxes weighing 2.5KG to heavy-duty institutional vaults built for long-term archival storage.
Our range covers every scenario: a small safe for a home office drawer, a fire-rated unit for a corporate accounts room, or a dual-lock cash safe for a retail business. Brands include Mahmayi's own Seguri line, Godrej & Boyce, and SecurePlus — all stocked and available for fast delivery across the UAE.
For businesses fitting out offices, securing server rooms or equipping multiple departments, our corporate team can advise on the right model, anchor placement and quantity — and we come to your site to assess the space. Contact us for a project quote; website prices are a starting point for bulk or institutional orders.
Who Is This For?
- Home Residents: Villa and apartment owners in the UAE looking to secure passports, jewellery, cash and important family documents against theft or fire.
- Small Business Owners: Retail shops, salons and clinics that handle daily cash or store confidential client records and need a compact, accessible safe on-site.
- Office Managers & Facilities Teams: Corporate offices requiring one or more safes for HR files, petty cash, IT asset registers or executive document storage.
- Finance & Accounts Departments: Teams handling cash, cheques or sensitive financial records who need a fire-rated, dual-lock solution with an auditable access mechanism.
- Institutions & Archives: Schools, legal firms, government contractors and healthcare providers who need certified fire-resistant storage for long-term document preservation.
What You'll Find in This Category
- Mini & Compact Digital Safes: Lightweight units from 2.5KG–4KG with numeric keypads, ideal for home offices, bedside storage or small retail counters — including the Seguri 20EA and CE-LZ17DA.
- Standard Digital Safes: Mid-size models like the Seguri 25EA and 35EBL with adjustable interior shelves, separate lockable internal drawers and electronic keypad access.
- Mechanical Key Lock Safes: Traditional barrel-lock and dial-and-key models for environments where battery-dependent electronics are not preferred.
- Fire-Resistant Safes: Certified fireproof models including the SecurePlus DS23 (29KG) and Secure SD101 (30KG) with thick fire-rated doors, visible insulation layers and combined dial-and-key locking for double-redundancy.
- Institutional & Heavy-Duty Safes: High-weight options from Godrej & Boyce (Forte Digital, 11KG+) designed for office and business asset security with robust door construction and chrome hardware.
- Dual-Mechanism Models: Safes offering both digital keypad and physical key access simultaneously — providing backup entry and an added layer of protection.
How to Choose
- Size & Weight: Heavier safes are harder to steal but harder to move. A 30KG+ fire safe belongs in a fixed office location; a 2.5KG mini safe needs to be bolted or concealed to be effective.
- Lock Type: Digital keypads offer quick access and audit trails; mechanical dial locks eliminate battery failure risk; dual-mechanism models give you both — choose based on your access frequency and risk tolerance.
- Fire Rating: If protecting paper documents, look for fire-resistant certification. The SecurePlus and Secure SD101 lines are built for this specifically. Standard digital safes are primarily theft-deterrents, not fire barriers.
- Internal Storage Needs: Check for adjustable shelves and internal drawers — the Seguri 35EBL offers two adjustable shelves plus a lockable lower drawer, which suits mixed storage of documents and valuables.
- Placement: Consider whether the safe will be floor-mounted, wall-recessed or placed inside a cupboard. Models with exposed hinges and anchor points make bolting to a surface straightforward.
- Quantity & Budget: Outfitting multiple offices or departments? Corporate pricing applies at volume. Contact our sales team for a consolidated quote rather than ordering unit by unit at list price.
Not sure which safe suits your setup? Our team can visit your office or home in Dubai to assess the space, recommend the right model and confirm sizing and placement before you commit. Corporate clients and institutions receive dedicated pricing for multi-unit orders — reach out to our sales team for a tailored project quote.
FAQs
What is the difference between a fire-resistant safe and a regular digital safe?
A regular digital safe is primarily designed to resist forced entry and theft — the steel body and electronic lock deter unauthorised access but offer little protection if exposed to fire. A fire-resistant safe, such as the SecurePlus DS23 or Secure SD101 in our range, has a thick insulated door with a visible fire-rated layer that keeps the interior temperature below the ignition point of paper (approximately 177°C) for a rated period. If you are storing documents, passports, USB drives or photographs, a fire-resistant model is strongly recommended. For cash-in-transit or quick-access valuables, a standard digital safe may be sufficient.
Which safe is best for a home in Dubai — digital keypad or mechanical key lock?
Both are reliable, but they suit different habits. Digital keypads — like those on the Seguri 20EA or Seguri 25EA — allow fast, keyless access using a PIN code, which is convenient if you open the safe regularly. Mechanical key locks (barrel or dial-and-key) have no batteries to replace and no electronics that can malfunction, making them a solid long-term choice for items you access infrequently, such as jewellery or property documents. For UAE home use, a compact digital safe works well for everyday items, while a fire-rated key-lock model is better for archival or emergency document storage. Some models in our range offer both mechanisms simultaneously for added redundancy.
Do you offer corporate or bulk pricing on safes for offices in the UAE?
Yes. The prices listed on our website are a starting point. Businesses, facilities teams and procurement departments ordering multiple safes — whether for a single office fit-out or across departments — can contact our sales team for a consolidated project quote with corporate pricing. We work with offices, clinics, schools, retail chains and government contractors across the UAE. Volume orders are assessed individually, so get in touch with your requirements and we will provide a tailored proposal.
Can the Mahmayi team visit our office to advise on safe placement and security?
Yes. For B2B customers and larger residential projects, our team comes to your location in Dubai or across the UAE to assess the space, recommend the right safe model and advise on placement, anchoring and access logistics. You do not need to visit a showroom. This is especially useful if you are securing a server room, accounts office or multi-floor facility where safe type and positioning matters. Contact our sales team to arrange an on-site consultation.
How heavy should a safe be to be considered theft-resistant?
Weight alone is not the only factor — anchoring matters more. A 2.5KG mini safe like the Mahmayi CE-LZ17DA is easily portable if left unsecured, but bolted to a floor or wall it becomes significantly harder to remove. A 30KG fire safe like the Secure SD101 is difficult to move without equipment even unbolted. As a general guide: safes under 10KG should always be anchored to a fixed surface; safes over 25KG offer meaningful resistance through weight alone but are still best anchored. All models in our range include anchor points. If you are in a high-traffic or retail environment, we recommend a heavier model regardless of the contents.
What brands of safes does Mahmayi stock in Dubai?
Mahmayi stocks safes from three main brands: the Seguri line (Mahmayi's own range, including the 20EA, 25EA and 35EBL digital models), Godrej & Boyce (the Forte Digital series, a trusted institutional brand), and SecurePlus and Secure (fire-rated safe specialists with models up to 30KG+). Across these brands, we cover compact personal safes, mid-size office cash safes, dual-mechanism models and heavy fire-resistant vaults — totalling 80 SKUs. All are available for delivery across Dubai and the wider UAE.
